Appearance: Kael has long raven dark hair that she always keep tied into two loose ponytails, held together by a small golden clasp that matches her sharp golden eyes. She is usually seen wearing a purple Grecian styled top with skinny jeans split at the sides, with loose stitches over the slits. Her jeans are tucked into high brown boots and she usually wears a baggy, long, brown half cut sleeve and a crop top jacket with a hoodie.

Personality: Kael is confident, strong, extremely loyal and generally very friendly. She's also a bit head strong and loud mouthed, which can often get her into troublesome situations. She can get a VERY bad temper and adores fighting, but knows its stupid to go looking for one. When it comes to romance however, she is completely clueless and very dense, always misinterpreting romantic advancements. She's gets along equally well with guys and girls, but doesn't trust men as easily as she does women.

Background: Kaels family consists of her two brothers (one older, one younger) and her mother. her father walked out on the family when she was three so she has no memory of him. Her mother has always given her the impression that he's a good for nothing bastard and she has never remarried or properly trusted another man since. This has left Kael with a general distrust towards men as well.
Kaels mother has a permanent injury that prevents her from working so they struggled living of the unemployment benefit, with times getting tougher and tougher.
When Kael was fourteen, her older brother married and moved out, making things even more financially difficult. In order to help provide for the family, Kael quit school and searched hard for a quick way to earn some urgent cash.
On her way home from another unsuccessful interview one night, she was attacked. For someone who had never fought before, she put up a pretty impressive fight but was no match. Thankfully a gruff, aged (and slightly tipsy) but very skilled fighter came to her rescue. He was well versed in several styles of fighting and beat the men off with ease. Kael thanked the man and explained how her family was having financial trouble when he asked why she was stupidly wondering the streets at that time of night.
He told of her underground fighting tournaments that paid pretty well and advised she partake, as he saw possible potential when she was fighting before. However an issue arose immediately. Kael would need a trainer and not even he would train someone for free . He told her how to contact him should she ever manage to raise the money, and Kael headed home disappointed. That same week, she went and visited her older brother and told him what happened. To her surprise, he decided to loan her the money, saying that she could just pay it off from her winnings when she could, even though he was reluctant for his sister to take up fighting.
Kael went straight ahead and contacted the man who saved her and he agreed to train her. And so Kael began her life as an underground fighter, and she quickly began to love fighting, adoring the rush and excitement of it all. Under her sensei's brutal training and teachings, she became a renown and very powerful fighter. She was paid well enough to provide her family with a comfortable lifestyle
When Kael was 17, she meet Mikoto for the first time. She was heading home one night after a match and Mikoto who was with Anna, was surrounded by thugs. Not realizing who he was or how strong he was, Kael jumped in instantly to defend them. She took them down with ease and upon learning who she was, the amused king offered her a place in Homra.

flutter-Kael momentarily gains an incredible burst of speed that allows her to move so fast she's merely a blur. She likes to use this ability to trick and confuse her opponent but will never use it in a tournament match. She sees it as an unfair advantage.

•Her reputation has earned her the weird nickname of 'ketsukane' or 'blood gold', referring to her odd golden coloured eyes..
•She's quite fascinated by her native American heritage and tries to learn what she can about it.
•She actually likes drawing and making art as a hobby.

•She is very fond of her long hair. Some punk thought it would be fun to try cut it once and discovered how fond of it she was the hard way.
